Data controller

Your personal data in the Change in Health Awards application process is processed by MEDIHIT as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Address: Maslak Mah. Büyükdere Cad. Uso Center Blok No: 245/3 Sarıyer – İstanbul / TÜRKİYE.

Data processed

Organisation details (name, website, social media accounts); identity and contact details of the organisation's contact person (name, department, title and position, email, phone, mobile phone); project information and the project file you upload; consent and security records (submission time, IP address, activity log); the campaign source through which you reached the application.

Purposes

Receiving your application, its preliminary review and its evaluation by the independent jury; selecting and announcing finalists and winners; contacting you about the process; keeping the system secure and auditable; meeting legal obligations.

If you consent, sharing your application with your organisation's name in the press, media and social media, and sharing your contact details with the award sponsors.

Transfers

Your application is shared only with the jury members assigned to evaluate it; the contact person's details are not shown to the jury. DEKON Group, the partner running the award process with MEDIHIT, accesses application data as the organisation secretariat. Data may be transferred to providers of hosting and email delivery only as far as those services require, and to competent authorities where the law requires.

Collection method and legal basis

Data is collected electronically through the application form on our website, on the basis of entering into and performing the application process, the controller's legitimate interest (security and audit records), legal obligations and, where applicable, your explicit consent.

Retention

Application data is kept for a reasonable period after the award season ends and for statutory limitation periods, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn the third parties it was transferred to, object, and claim compensation. Send your requests through the contact channels on our website.
